EXite is provided through a joint venture of two high calibre specialist companies, Connecting Learning and IET Associates, who work exclusively in the education sector. Directors of both organisations have vast and proven experience in the area of large-scale change programmes and are highly regarded in the educational technology and leadership arena.

The directors of Connected Learning and IET Associates have unparalleled experience at national level delivering excellent programmes that bring together the leadership agenda, technology potential and pragmatic high quality peer support. They have unparalleled access to excellent practice in schools, leaders of renowned quality and experts in the field.

Mike Briscoe and Hannah Jones were both Directors of the highly successful Strategic Leadership of ICT (SLICT*) programme. Paul Shoesmith is internationally recognised for his expertise and leadership of technology solutions in the education sector and Lorna Thompson is a highly experienced and outstanding headteacher with a wealth of experience at school, local and national levels.

*SLICT was a national programme for school leaders that over 7 years reached over 13,000 leaders and developed a strong national and international footprint. During its lifetime, SLICT was continually revised was attended by over 10,000 (40%) of leaders from schools by March 2006 alone. The success of the programme, and raised market demand, secured funding for the programme for a further two years and the final target achieved reached 13,000. External evaluations were overwhelmingly positive with Ofsted, PwC and Henley identifying the programme as a strong agent for change in teaching and learning practices and for leadership and management.
